Reflection from group critique

Looking at the past week I really enjoyed the self production of works. I found that when we were given a week to work on a something it gave time for the development process to set in. As well as being able to to use the schools recourses like the riso printing machine. I would have loved to use the riso printing machine for the bottom right design, however, it would have taken to long to complete in the three days we were given to work. I would have wanted to see how the colors overlapped on each other, similar to how the top right poster did this with the small text. The blue and red "mixed" to make a purple which was interesting to see. I definitely would like to experiment with this overlapping technique in the future.

Group Feedback and my Response -

I would have to agree that this works is graphic design based and does not fit into any other category. A peer came up to me and really liked the crispness of the work and she said that all the posters look very professional. I was pleased to hear this because this is what I wanted to achieve. The group agreed that the message is communicated clearly and text is necessary. Furthermore, the bold composition was visually pleasing. Adding to this comment, I do think choosing primary colors in the end made the poster very vibrant without making the poster busy with color. One of the comments also suggest making the poster bigger either A1 or A2, which I agree I think it would elevate the poster designs to mimic actual poster seen in the tube.
